Update from Knitting SOS

Dear all,

Thank you for your patience in a very trying couple of years for all of us.

Update on the unpleasant bit:

I finished cancer treatment just before the pandemic hit.  With a few ongoing ups and downs I’m generally feeling better every day…with a full head of curls to show for it!

I was hoping to start teaching again last year but of course the pandemic is the gift that keeps on giving. However now with vaccinations and boosters (I got my third jab last month) I’m starting to feel a teensy bit more confident.

Knitting Plans:

Knitting SOS is BACK!  The third Sunday of every month from 10am-12midday.  No need to book, just turn up for knitting, tea and chat.   I respectfully request that you take a home covid test before coming to Knitting SOS as some of my regulars are vulnerable and I’d like to keep us all as safe as possible.  Thank you for your consideration.

Group Classes:

Now booking!

One to one Classes:

I’ve tentatively had a few of these in-person.  If you are interested in booking they are £77 for a two hour session.

Zoom Knitting Classes:

This is a tricky thing that I try and deal with on a case by case basis.  I can’t teach a complete beginner on zoom but if you are a knitter wanting help with a project (more help than a simple SOS) you are working on then zoom is an option.  I charge £25 for a one hour zoom class.

Knitting SOS virtual help:

I’m always available to hear your questions about your knitting projects by email, text or whatsapp.  Drop me a line!  I’d love to see what you are knitting.

Latest News from Knitty Gritty:

A bit of interesting news about my books: the copyrights for the books have reverted to me from the publishers.  This means that I can sell parts of the book myself.  If you are interested in buying any of my patterns you can find them on my Ravelry Store, or if you prefer to buy them off-Rav, you can contact me directly.  In the next few weeks I hope to get the pdfs onto Payhip.

What am I knitting?

SOCKS!  I recently fell victim to a Prison Break (Netflix) addiction (this sentence is proof that I can reference Prison Break in every conversation I have).  It's a very tense drama that seems to pair well with slightly frantic sock knitting.  After an abrupt ending to the series I still have 1/2 a sock to finish so please send recommendations for nail-biting telly.

I look forward to seeing (in some format) and hearing from you all soon.

Warm wishes,

Aneeta
